LAUX Valve — OEM Butterfly Valve Manufacturer

Founded in 2011, the company established an extensive experience in the manufacturing of butterfly valves and has exported products to over 60 countries.
A diverse range of valve body disc seat designs is available to accommodate the varied requirements of our customers.
We offer a 24-month warranty and still are ready to assist any problems you may encounter with the valve.
Our Story
LAUX VALVE was founded in May 2011 in Tianjin, China, by a group of valve engineers who had spent the previous decade contract-manufacturing butterfly valves for European and North-American brands. After watching too many shipments leave the factory under someone else's label, the founders set out to build their own line — one engineered to the published spec rather than to the lowest bid.
Today LAUX is an export-oriented manufacturer with full in-house capability across casting, CNC machining, vulcanisation, assembly and pressure testing. Roughly 95% of our output ships to over 60 countries, with water-utility, fire-protection, petrochemical and HVAC customers making up the largest segments. We remain a privately held company, and the founders are still on the factory floor every working day.
Manufacturing Capability
Our 15,000 m² Tianjin facility houses 12 CNC machining centres, two rubber-vulcanisation lines, dedicated PTFE/PFA encapsulation tooling, and pressure-test rigs sized up to DN 2400. We pour our own ductile-iron, WCB carbon-steel and CF8M stainless-steel bodies through a sister foundry less than an hour away, which lets us trace every casting from heat number to finished valve.
Annual capacity is approximately 120,000 butterfly valves across all body styles. Lead times typically run 25 working days for standard catalogue items and 45-60 days for custom or actuator-mounted assemblies. Every order ships fully assembled, with a printed Material Test Report (MTR) and a hydrostatic-test certificate tied to the valve's serial number.
Quality Control
Every LAUX butterfly valve goes through five independent inspection gates before it leaves the building: incoming-material verification, casting dimensional check, post-machining sealing-surface inspection, full assembly test, and a 100% hydrostatic shell + seat test (1.5× and 1.1× rated pressure respectively, in line with API 598). For AWWA C504 production we add the standard's torque-test protocol, where every valve must demonstrate guaranteed seating torque at full rated differential pressure.
Our quality system is third-party audited to ISO 9001:2015 by DNV·GL and the company holds CE certification under the EU Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, NSF/ANSI 61 component listings for drinking-water service, and WRAS material approval for the UK water-utility market. Every valve carries a 24-month warranty against material and workmanship defects.
Global Customers
LAUX valves have been exported to over 60 countries worldwide, with major markets across North America, Western Europe, the Gulf region, Russia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Our key client groups include municipal water authorities, industrial water and petrochemical operators, as well as HVAC system integrators specializing in district heating renovation projects.
We accommodate orders of all sizes, ranging from individual replacement valves (DN100) to large-scale EPC projects worth millions of dollars featuring hundreds of motorized valve units. We work flexibly with end users directly, and also serve as an OEM supplier for renowned international brands.
Engineering Leadership
Decisions on disc geometry, seat compound, shaft sizing and material substitutions are made by engineers who have been in valves for over 25 years, not by a sales team. Our chief engineer started his career in valve design in 1995, has been the lead engineer on our AWWA C504 product line since the company's founding, and continues to personally sign off on every new product release.
That hands-on engineering ownership is the single biggest reason LAUX valves stay in service for 15+ years on potable-water and process-fluid systems. If you have a non-standard service condition — sub-zero LNG, high-chloride seawater, slurry abrasion, fire-safe service — talk to us; we'll either propose a proven configuration from our catalogue or engineer a tailored solution rather than say "close enough."
